I’m really looking forward to the Glass Painting session on Sunday 25th January – it’s going to be such a fun and colourful afternoon! 🎨✨
We’ll be using Pebeo Vitrea 160 glass paints to decorate glass bottles and other glass objects. These paints are beautifully transparent, and once your piece has been baked in the oven at 160°C for 40 minutes, the design is permanently sealed onto the glass – so you’ll have something to treasure (or gift!) 💎
Whether your style is loose and abstract or more detailed and illustrative, there’s plenty of freedom to play. You can create colourful patterns, flowing designs, or even paint an image if you fancy a challenge.
I’ve been having a little practice run ahead of the session, and honestly, it’s been so much fun! The dotted bottle was created using a paintbrush for the circles, with some outlined and finished with dots using relief paint. The glass was made using small round sponges alongside the relief paint, and the fish bottle combines brushwork with relief paint for extra detail 🐟
At the session, there will be a lovely selection of bottles and smaller glass items to work on, or you’re very welcome to bring along your own glass item. All materials, guidance, and inspiration are provided, so you can just turn up and enjoy the process.
The session is pay as you feel. If you think you'll want to paint for longer than 2 hours, you're welcome to book both sessions (while spaces last!). And if you’d like to make a full creative day of it, just let me know and I’ll happily add an 11am session too ☕🍪
Come along, relax, experiment, and enjoy getting creative with glass – I can’t wait to paint with you! 🌈
