Three Days of Craft, Connection and Creativity. Daily Rhythm

🧒 2–4 pm — Open Session - Come along solo, with a friend, teen or child. Everyone is welcome.

🧵 4–6 pm — Adult Arty Session - Join in with the days crafting projects, or bring your own projects.

🌈 6–9 pm — Supper & Crafting - Time to continue projects, enjoy a social supper and chat. All sessions take place in Rainbow Jane's Art Shed and garden - spaces are limited, booking is essential. Pay-as-you- feel with donations to cover material costs. Additional donations go to Alzheimer's Society and Zarach. 🌈 Wednesday: Decoupage & Decorate – Stick, Splash & Shimmer ✨

A day of papers, paints and plenty of sparkle! Decorative decoupage papers and napkins, metallic and glitter paints, and sequins will all be waiting to inspire you.

Choose from a selection of MDF shapes, plant pots and boxes to transform into something beautiful, or bring along an item to decorate and up-cycle. All crafting materials are supplied, along with instruction and inspiration.

Discover a wonderful selection of decoupage papers, paints and embellishments. Choose from a range of objects to decorate, or bring along a small item to upcycle and transform into something uniquely yours

🧵 4 pm – 6 pm | Adult Arty Session

A relaxed afternoon of mindful making, using papers and paints to decorate, embellish and breathe new life into treasured objects.

🌈 6 pm – 8 pm | Social Supper & Crafting

Share a simple supper, enjoy good company, and continue crafting into the evening 🧡

🧵 Thursday: Yarn & Stitch Together ✨

A day filled with felt, fabric, colourful threads, glittery tulle and yarn to inspire your creations. Explore felt brooches, crocheted flowers, embellished embroidery, pom-poms and bunting.

All crafting materials are supplied, along with plenty of ideas, guidance and encouragement.

Everyone is welcome – come solo, bring a friend, teen or child.

From large needles and binca for the youngest stitchers to fine needles, embroidery threads, a rainbow of yarns and sparkling sequins, there's something for everyone. Sew, knit, crochet, collage, or simply bring along your own project and enjoy an afternoon of creativity and company.

🧵 4 pm – 6 pm | Adult Arty Session

Try needle felting and embroidery to create a fish or floral brooch, use dissolvable embroidery patterns to make an embellished patch, or crochet flowers and leaves for a colourful garland.

🌈 6 pm – 8 pm | Social Supper & Crafting

Enjoy a shared supper and a drink together. Time to chat, relax, and continue your project if inspiration strikes 🧡

✨ Friday: Beads, Bangles & Beautiful Things ✨

This is the day we return to the roots of Rainbow Jane and her years of running a bead shop! The bead collection will be out in all its colourful glory, alongside threads for jewellery making and wires for creating sun-catchers and hanging decorations.

Everyone is welcome – come solo, bring a friend, teen or child.

From colourful pony beads for little hands to thread onto elastic, to tiny seed beads and sparkling crystals for intricate jewellery and sun catchers, there's something to delight every maker. Come and create something beautifully sparkly.

🧵 4 pm – 6 pm | Adult Arty Session

Choose from the full range of beautiful beads to create bracelets, earrings, necklaces or sparkling sun-catchers. Alternatively, bring along any broken or unloved jewellery and give it a new lease of life by rethreading or remaking it into something new.

🌈 6 pm – 8 pm | Celebration Sharing Supper

Let's round off the Summer Retreat with a joyful shared supper and a drink together 🥂Bring along a dish to share and your favourite tipple as we celebrate three wonderful days of creativity, conversation and crafting.
