On 22nd March, Iāll be hosting a special Rainbow Jane crepe paper flower-making sessionĀ in the Art Shed. Together weāll explore how to transform beautiful crepe paper into delicate, lifelike flowers full of colour and character. āļøšØš»
During the session youāll learn how to cut and shape petals, add shading and colour, and assemble your flowersĀ step by step. Itās a wonderfully relaxing and creative process, and by the end youāll have your own handmade blooms to take home. šø
There will be a choice of flowers to create. You might choose cheerful spring flowers like crocuses and daffodilsĀ š¼ or traditional favourites such as roses and chrysanthemumsĀ š¹. If youāre feeling adventurous, you can even design your own unique floral creation. šŗ
All materials will be provided, including beautiful Italian crepe paper, inks and paints, florist wires and tapes. Iāll be there to offer guidance, inspiration and encouragement, and weāll work together in a small, friendly groupĀ where everyone can enjoy the creative process at their own pace. š
Of course, no Rainbow Jane session would be complete without a cuppa and biscuitsĀ āšŖ and plenty of relaxed conversation while we make together.
This session is extra special for me because it falls close to my birthdayĀ š. Instead of taking donations for material costs and to support my regular charities, Iāve decided to donate all the money collected to support a wonderful cause - 'Beat'.
The funds will go to a young couple who are raising money for Beat, the UKās leading charity supporting people affected by eating disorders. Donations from this session will be added to their fundraising page. š

So come along, welcome the spring, enjoy a creative afternoon, and help support a meaningful cause at the same time. š·āØ
