Rainbow Jane Family Story & Art – Jackson Pollock
Sunday May 17th – sessions at 11am, 1pm and 3pm
This month at Rainbow Jane Family Story & Art, we’ll be exploring the wonderfully expressive and colourful world of Jackson Pollock.
We’ll begin the session by sharing the story- Jackson Pollock Splashed Paint and Wasn’t Sorry, a playful and inspiring introduction to an artist who created art in his own unique and fearless way.
This session is all about giving children the freedom to experiment, explore and discover that in art there is no “wrong” or “right”. Sometimes art is about expression, movement, colour and imagination — and this session celebrates exactly that.
Using acrylic paints in the primary colours, we’ll experiment with:
mixing colours and shades
changing the thickness of paint
dripping, splashing and spreading paint
using pipettes and air blowers to move colour across the page
It may get a little messy… but it will definitely be creative and fun 😊
As always, the sessions are designed to encourage:✨ confidence✨ curiosity✨ creativity✨ and a lifelong enjoyment of art.
Sessions are suitable for families with children aged approximately 3–12, and spaces are limited, so booking is essential for both adults and children attending.
There’ll also be juice, tea, coffee and biscuits to enjoy together ☕🍪
Payment is offered on a pay as you feel basis to help cover material costs, with any additional funds donated to Zarach 💛
I can’t wait to see what wonderfully energetic and colourful creations appear during this session 🌈

The article creatively connects family storytelling with Jackson Pollock inspired art activities for children. While studying creative learning methods, I used assignment writing service uk to help structure a project about how art encourages emotional expression in families. The painting activities here feel playful while still supporting imagination and communication. It reminded me that creative art projects can strengthen both learning and family connection at the same time.
